She was preceded in death by her parents McCullough Darlington and Edith Pearson Darlington, her sister Teena Wilson and Teena’s husband David and her brother McCullough Jr.
Left with their memories and stories to share are her nephew Michael Wilson (Angie), godson John Fenwick (Jamie), Darlington first cousins Cynthia, Harry IV “Skipper” and Christopher Pitney, Aunt Eleanor Pearson, Pearson first cousins Bill, Chris, Cindy and Lyn, John and Bill Porter, Kathy, Sandra and Philip Spangler, and their families.
She remained close friends with schoolmates, co-workers from Capitol Hill, her adoptive Bickel and Hunter families and numerous others. She was extraordinarily generous to friends and family and was always available to give her time, support and love to them.
Becky was equally at ease at formal black-tie events as hosting friends for casual crab fests at the beach or riding an ATV around her farm. Her athleticism allowed her to be a star at field hockey, a fabulous tennis player, a coach for her summer baseball team and an excellent equestrian. Many don’t know that she owned a trail bike and rode it at the Pitts in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Music was an integral part of Becky’s enjoyment. She excelled as a pianist, even creating her own compositions. Upbeat songs would find her toe tapping, swaying in her chair or dancing through a room.
She loved dogs and always had one or more since adulthood: Beefy, Flopsy, Buttons, Mopsy, Cassie, and her latest Daisy. All lived long lives due to her love, care and constant attention. The family thanks Jordan and Monica for their care and adoption of Daisy.
Throughout her life and accomplishments, she will best be remembered for her sense of humor and her wonderful, contagious laugh. It was impossible not to join in when Becky was having fun and enjoying herself.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Humane Society.

There will be a private interment following the service.
