

Richard Allen Kronheim of Arlington, VA, died on September 1, 2015, of emphysema at Virginia Hospital Center. He was the beloved son of D.C. Superior Court Judge Milton Kronheim, Jr., and Tillie Kronheim and the grandson of Washington businessman Milton Kronheim, Sr. He is survived by his sisters Nancy Kronheim of Arlington, VA, and Roberta Kronheim of Washington, DC. Richard was an alumnus of the U.S. Capitol Page School and served as a page on the floor of Congress for two years. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He attended Santa Barbara City College and was, for many years, an executive at the family-owned Kronheim Companies wholesale liquor distributors of Washington and Baltimore. A reliable and constant support to his family, he is also remembered as a local venture capitalist and supporter of numerous philanthropic causes. There will be a family-only graveside service and, on a date to be announced later, a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to heroes.org or the Charles E.
