Sally W. Steele was born on March 19, 1911 and died on January 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, and Jennifer and Laurinda, her daughters. She is survived by her son-in-law Robert H. Lacey, III and by several nephews and nieces. Visitation on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. NW (corner of Harrison St.) Washington, DC 20016. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 12 p.m. at the Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Ave. Bethesda, MD 20816. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Steele has requested that donations be made to the Salvation Army, National Capitol Area Command, 2626 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20037.
