His sister Alice predeceased him. He is survived by his dear friend Betty Kriskie, his cousin Karsten Engel and his wife Horoka in Germany.
Walter grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He attended Temple University.
Mr. Kroeger served his country in the United States Navy. He worked at the United States Postal Service office. Upon retirement, he later worked at Columbia Country Club in Maryland. He was a world traveler, traveling to all 7 continents.
Walter will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
