I have known Bill for about 45 years, since I became Executive Director of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In the beginning Bill was Chairman of our insurance Committee at a very critical time.  And although I cannot remember the precise name of the legislation, he was our leader and it was coming to the floor for a vote duding our October annual meeting.    So Bill marshaled all our members to call their congressman and we deluged the Congress much so, that several commented they had never experienced anything like it.  It was a very heady time, and Bill was our leader.  Later I worked with him, when the AAC AP bought our building on Wisconsin Avenue....and Bill chaired our building committee.  We had such good times and I am grateful for his friendship...
