Barrett McGurn, former journalist, government official and author, died on July 2, 2010 at his home in Bethesda, MD, at the age of 95. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Ann McGurn and sons, Bill, Andy, Lachie, Martin and Mark. Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 between 6 and 8 p.m. at the Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20816. The funeral service will be held at the same location on the following day, Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 12 noon. Arrangements entrusted to Joseph Gawler's Sons, Inc., Washington, DC.
