Andrea was born on June 10,1949 to John and Catherine Flescher in New York City. In her teen years, they moved to Rockland County and lived in Monsey, NY. She married her husband, Donald Rist in 1973 and moved to Orange County in 1978 where she would raise her two daughters, Donna and Lori-Ann. She worked as a bank representative for Chase Bank, previously known as Bank of New York for over 20 years until she retired to provide full time care to her grandchildren.
Andrea is survived by her daughters, Donna Thom (Shawn) of Florida NY, Lori-Ann Pentz (William) of Salisbury Mills NY, sister, Elizabeth Flescher Kubisky (Richard) of Stuart FL, brother, Thomas Flescher of Stuart FL. Grandchildren, Christina Pentz, Emily Pentz, Neil Coyne, Caitlyn Coyne, Marissa Watroba, Hanna Watroba, Kylie Thom, Austin Thom, Jason Thom and Great-granddaughter, Amelia Kovacs.
Andrea is predeceased by her husband, Donald Rist, sister, Patricia Morrisohn and her parents John and Catherine.
A visitation for Andrea will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Columba Church, 29 High Street, Chester, NY 10918. A burial will occur Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, New York 10924. She will be buried with her husband at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
