

Carl Michael TerBush died peacefully, at home, surrounded by family, December 24, 2017. He was born October 19, 1950, son of Carl H TerBush and Alice Mulhall TerBush, both deceased. Carl “Michael” is survived by his children, Justin TerBush and Jessica Strassburg, and Kyle TerBush and his wife Tara and their children, Brynn and Aiden, and his “chosen son” Joao Pitta. He will be missed by his siblings, Eileen TerBush Ranavaro and Thomas Ranavaro, Brian and Dawn TerBush, Kevin and Michelle TerBush, Dennis and Tammy TerBush, Margaret TerBush Ramos and Stephen Ramos, and all their children, his beloved nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by bothers, John TerBush and Jeffrey TerBush.
Carl is also survived by his family through marriage, headed by F Janice Ebner, whom he loved as his 2nd mother, Edwin Ebner, deceased, and the Ebner family, Stephanie Brady and John Gillespie, Janice and Thomas Linnin, Dennis and Pam Ebner, Diana and Kevin Coughlin, Kathleen Ebner, Charlene Ebner-Rankin and Dennis Rankin, Barbara Ebner, and Donna TerBush, and their children, his beloved nieces and nephews.
Michael loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, gun enthusiast, golfer, and enjoyed his time as a member of Black Rock Fish and Game Club. He was a Washingtonville CYO Basketball Coach, and played in Loughran’s Golf League.
Michael enjoyed life to the fullest, and was known for his easy going personality, sense of humor, marching to his own beat, and generally, that he was just a great guy. He loved his sons and was proud of the men they’d become, and he enjoyed every minutes he spent with his grandchildren.
Michael was loved by many and will be missed greatly by his friends and family, both TerBush and Ebner. He came home from the hospital Dec 23rd to celebrate Christmas with most of his family and friends, his kids and grandkids, before passing Dec 24th.
