Carmela Mangiaracina

Carmela Mangiaracina of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on October 24, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh. She was 96. Carmela was born in Pratt City, Alabama on December 14, 1915 to Jackino and Marianna Delionardo Navaro.

She was the Widow of Joseph Mangiaracina. Carmela was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved cooking and family parties. Carmela is survived by her loving children Joseph Mangiaracina and his companion Kathy Maciello of Hobart, NY, Jack C. and his wife Joann Mangiaracina of Washingtonville, NY and Charles G. and his wife Maureen Mangiaracina of West Melbourne, FL: grandchildren, Gina Stasio, Lisa and her husband Steven Lambert, Joseph and his wife Nicole Mangiaracina, Gary and his wife Samantha Mangiaracina, Joseph Mangiaracina, Erica and her husband Curtis Dilger, Steven Mangiaracina and Alicia Mangiaracina: great grandchildren Toni-Marie, Christina, Joseph, Steven, Matthew, Carly, Gary Jr. and Mark. She was predeceased by one great grandchild Joseph. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2-5pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, October 29, 2012, 10 am at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, NY. Burial will follow at Linden Hill Methodist Cemetery in Ridgewood, NY.
