Carolynn graduated from Washingtonville H.S. and Mount St. Mary’s College In Newburgh, NY. She worked for many years as a teacher in the Chester School District and later at BC/BS in Middletown NY.
Carolynn is survived by her husband, Raymond Mulligan of Rock Tavern, NY, Her sister Tricia Korth and husband Robert Steiger of Middletown, NY, Her brothers James Kavanah and wife Barbara of Romulus, NY, Thomas Kavanah and wife Beth of Rock Tavern, NY, and many nieces and nephews including: Kimberly, Patrick, Jason, Elliot, Christopher, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Courtney, Jon, CJ, Robbie, Molly, Matt, Mark, Keith, Keilyn, and grand nieces and nephews, Liam, Kinley, Rylan, Abbey, Colette, Sophie, Ellie, Will, Oliver, Dakota, Bella, Georgia, Laila and Luna. As well as many close aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
Carolynn was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Patrick Kavanah.
Carolynn has a generous heart and her home was always open for her many family members and friends. She loved traveling and had a special love for Aruba and Montauk where she spent many years vacationing with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, located at 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992, on October 9, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, NY 10992, on October 10, 2025, at 11:00 am.
