Claudia M. Casazza (nee Schwartz),71, beloved wife of Eugene Casazza passed away on April 2, 2025 in Middletown, New York. She was the daughter of the late Martin Schwartz and Alverna Brofee Schwartz. Claudia was born in Passaic, New Jersey.
Claudia served for 23 years with the U.S. Army Reserve. She also worked at Defense Contract Audit Agency and most recently served as Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Blooming Grove, New York for over 15 years.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Eugene Casazza. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Rothfritz (Charles), a nephew Keith Rothfritz and niece Leah Ubbens and step-children Steven Casazza and Susan Reich and several cousins.
Claudia was predeceased by her beloved son Kevin David Casazza.
There will be a mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Washingtonville, NY on Wednesday, April 9th at 10:00 A.M. Interment follows at Orange County Veteran Cemetery, Goshen, NY at 11:15 A.M.
