Edna Grace Reynolds

Edna Grace Reynolds, a lifelong resident of Central Valley, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Elant at Goshen, at the age of 101.

Daughter of the late Clarence and Jannette Earl, she was born August 16, 1909.

She is survived by her son, Richard and his wife, Kathleen Reynolds of Central Valley; daughters, Doris Carey of St. Petersburg, FL, JoAnn and her husband, Kenneth Schmoeger of Central Valley, Alene and her husband, Vincent Champlain of Sarasota, FL; 12 loving grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and at last count, seven great-great-grandchildren.

Edna was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; her grandson, Richard "Richie"; her sisters: Edith Mae Turfler, Lena Alma Perrone; brothers: Clarence Nelson and Earl & Floyd Earl.

Edna was a lifetime homemaker, cherished by her family and respected by everyone. She was also an active member of the Central Valley Methodist Church since 1937.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, with a service beginning at 4 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville (845-496-9106).

Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna’s name may be made to Central Valley Methodist Church, Smith Clove Rd., Central Valley, NY 10917.
