Eileen Brigid Lee

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Eileen Brigid Lee on May 9, 2025, at the age of 59. Eileen was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt whose quiet resilience and gentle spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

Born on August 15, 1965, Eileen faced many challenges throughout her life due to her disabilities. Yet she met each day with quiet courage, a kind heart, and a reminder of the strength in vulnerability and the beauty of a simple, sincere life.

For the past 20 years, Eileen made her home at the Abbott House in Pomona, NY, where she was lovingly cared for by a dedicated staff who became like family. The warmth and dignity she experienced there brought her comfort, joy, and a true sense of belonging.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Johanna Lee; her brothers Kevin Lee (Tammy) and Sean Lee (Heather); her sisters Siobhan Drumgoole (Todd) and Kerry FitzGerald; and ten treasured nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Lee, and her brother, Timothy Lee.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Eileen’s memory to the Autism Speaks foundation, an organization close to her heart.

Eileen’s life was a quiet but powerful gift. May she rest now in peace and love.
