Esther DesJardines Glantz

The daughter of Morris Sternberg and Sarah Wilks, she was born July 6, 1919 in Montreal, Canada. She was further predeceased by her first husband, Harold DesJardines, and her second husband, Henry Glantz.

Esther was a customer service manager. She was also the vice president of the Blooming Grove Seniors of Washingtonville. A loving mother and grandmother, she was very dedicated to her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra Rappo and her husband, Joseph, and Marcia Jimmerson and her husband, Jerry; her son, Scott DesJardines and his wife, Christine; granddaughters: Robin Rappo Vega, Denise Jimmerson Jumonville, Lisa Jumonville and her husband, Doug, Laurie Gorham and her husband, Brent, and Gina Kehoe and her husband, Joseph; grandsons, Robert Rappo and his wife, Janet, and Hal and Anthony DesJardines; great-grandchildren: Kayla and Brent Gorham, Giovanni and Santino Kehoe, Joseph Vega, Christopher and Dustin Albarado, Seth Kling, Donie and Haley Jumonville, and great-great-grandson, Landon Albarado.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 13, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, NY at 11:30am.
