Francine Lewandowski of Washingtonville, entered into rest on Friday, September 24, 2010, at home. She was 45.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 30, 1965 to Joseph and Joan (Lettieri) Galante.

Francine was a coach with CYO Basketball as well as helped the PTA at Taft Elementary School. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Francine was the wife of Carl J. Lewandowski.

She is survived by her husband, Carl J. Lewandowski; children, Brandon and Celine Lewandowski of Washingtonville; parents, Joseph and Joan Galante of Washingtonville; brother, Joseph Galante of Ocala, FL; sister, Darlene and her husband, Angelo Ferrara of Washingtonville; mother-in-law, Annette Lewandowski of Greentown, PA; brother-in-law, John Lewandowski of Staten Island, NY; nieces, Kristen and Erin Lewandowski; nephews, Thomas and Michael Ferrara and Marc Lewandowski. She was predeceased by her brother, John Galante and brother-in-law, Mark Lewandowski.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26 and Monday, September 27, from 4-8 p.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 28, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, Washingtonville, NY. Cremation will be private.
