Frederick Charles Mazza Jr.

Frederick Charles Mazza Jr., age 65, of Washingtonville, New York passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home in Washingtonville N.Y. Fred was born March 26, 1957 in Bronx, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna Marie and Frederick Mazza, his sister Joann Mazza, and recently, his brother Paul Mazza.

Fred is survived by his children Anthony and Jacquelyn Mazza, his sister Donna Discepolo, brother-in-law Joseph Discepolo and niece Dina Discepolo, his brother Vincent Mazza; nephew Vincent Mazza and niece Kaitlin Mazza.

Fred was a proud member of local 94, Operating Engineers in NYC for 25 years. He loved music, old horror films (especially with Vincent Price) Star Wars and Star Trek. Fred also loved making his own horror films with family and friends, and was quite good at it. He was a lifelong Yankee fan, but above all he was a loving and devoted father to his kids, Anthony and Jacquelyn.

Christian mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, Friday August 19th at St. Mary's Church 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville N.Y.
