

Georgia P. Brundage of Blooming Grove, NY entered into rest peacefully on February 21, 2012 at home. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family and close friends. Georgia was born in Hamptonburgh, NY on September 14, 1911 to Augustus L., Sr. and Irene (Van Der Meulen) Peters. She was predeceased by her husband William E. Brundage. Georgia was the oldest member of Blooming Grove United Church of Christ and a member of the Kings Daughters. She was also a volunteer for many years at the Country Store Thrift Shop in Washingtonville, NY. Georgia enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafting keepsakes for her friends and family. She embarked on many adventures traveling across the United States and Europe. She loved her family and friends always providing a helping hand to those in need. She is survived by her sons, William A. Brundage of Cherryfield, Maine and Edward (Ted) and his wife Jeanne Brundage of Blooming Grove, NY; grandchildren, Carole and her husband Sam Corda, Elliott M. Brundage and his wife Melissa Litton, Catharine and her husband Mark Miller, Thomas B. Brundage and life partner Robert Cotter, Susan J. Cooney and Patricia L. and her husband Ed Conrad; Great grandchildren, Stephen, Christina, Nick and Kate Corda, Jacob Brundage, Zach and Luke Miller, Matt and Lauren Cooney and Christopher Conrad. Georgia is also survived by her loving friend of 58 years Naomi Specht. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 11:30 am at the Blooming Grove United Church of Christ in Blooming Grove, NY.
