

Henry H. “Bucky” Hall a lifelong resident of Washingtonville, NY. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a long battle with Cancer on June 15, 2011 at Castle Point VA he was 75. He was born in Staunton, VA on March 3, 1936 to Henry H. Hall and Mildred Meisner. Bucky retired after 25 years as a truck driver from Mack brothers and also worked at the family owned T&M Deli for 25 years , Bucky was the first one you’d see at the counter when you came in to eat or play Lotto and he always had a smile and a joke for you. Bucky was a member of the 5 o’clock coffee club at T&M II Go, a member of the VFW post 8691 of Washingtonville was active in Pop Warner Football and Past Vice President of the Washingtonville Little League. Bucky had so much love for his children and grandchildren whom he was very proud of and who gave him great joy every day. Bucky was a Navy Veteran for 4 years serving aboard the USS Glacier during Operation Deep Freeze at the South Pole with Admiral Byrd. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lena Previtera Hall of Washingtonville; his children Linda and her husband Vince McAdon , Tim and his wife Molly Hall, Mike and his wife Lisa Hall, Wayne and his wife Gina Hall, Phyllis and her husband Kenny Kellman, Amy and her husband Joe Ryan; Grandchildren include Mike Jr., Nick, Samantha, Tim, Michelle, Katie, Megan, Alexis and Shannon Hall, Becky and Elizabeth McAdon, Alex and Adam Kellman and Joey Ryan; niece, Cheryl and Nephews Angelo, Joseph and Tommy. He is also survived by his Lifelong best friend Jimmy Merritt. Bucky was pre deceased by his two sisters, Evelyn and Virginia and one niece, Karen.
The family would also like to thank the staff of Castle Point VA Hospital for their loving care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26 from 3-5pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 5PM at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private.
