

John lived in Rock Tavern for over 30 years; provided a home, raised his family, coached T-Ball, Little League and was a big fan of any sport his two sons were involved in. He worked for Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc for 11 years. He felt very fortunate to be a part of such a great company.
John Loved music, muscle cars, model trains and sports. Always generous, he enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his family, he loved life . . .
John is survived by his loving wife, Mariann Durso of Rock Tavern, NY; sons; Christopher and his wife, Kerri Durso of Hartsdale, NY and Nicholas Durso at home; grandson, Austin Durso; mother-in-law, Margherita DeTullio of Toms River, NJ; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Esther & Tom, Dolores & Dan, Liz and Mike; nieces, nephews, Stephen, Heather, Jackie, Damian & Holly, Derek, Gina & Mike, Mike and Shana, many great nieces and nephews, many cousins and his dog, Abby.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 14th at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home in Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 15th at St. Mary's Church in Washingtonville, NY and burial is to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY.
