John "Jack" M. Ferry

John "Jack" Michael Ferry, of Washingtonville, NY and Palm Harbour, FL, entered into rest on Friday, October 30, 2015. He was born in Patterson, NJ on May 14, 1936, to the late James and Margaret Reagan Ferry. He was predeceased by his brother, James Ferry and his sister, Theresa Ferry.

Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and an all-around great guy who loved life and his family. Jack worked as a Chemist in the food industry. He was a parishioner at St. Mary's Church, serving on the Parish Council as well as a Eucharistic Minister; a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Council 5890 of Washingtonville, NY; a member of the Highland Lake Jammers, the Gulf Port Senior Harmonica Group; past member of the Blooming Grove Rotary club. Jack served as a Tank Driver in the U.S. Army.

Jack is survived by his wife, Betty Ferry of Washingtonville, NY; children, Michael and his wife, Darci Ferry of Montgomery, NY and Christine Ferry of Washingtonville, NY; grandchildren, Mark and Dylan Ferry and Matthew Wright; siblings, William and his wife, Patricia Ferry of Ocean, NJ, Vincent Ferry of Jersey City, NJ, Maryanne and her husband, Thomas Deregibus of Wayne, NJ and Sheila and her husband, John Dempsey also of Wayne, NJ.; sister in law, Anne Ferry of New Jersey; also many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, from4 to 8 p.m., at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 6, 2015, 10 a.m. at St Mary's Church with a Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, both of Washingtonville, NY.
