John Mlynarczyk of Alva, Florida and formally a 21 year resident of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on July 4, 2016 after a seven year battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was 57 years old. John was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 28, 1958 to Edward and Doris Mlynarczyk. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. John retired after 33 years with Avaya as a telecommunications technician. John was very involved in the community coaching and participating in many activities with his daughters. John enjoyed many vacations with his family and friends on the Outer Banks, NC as well as many family trips to Disney. John’s hobbies included working on his car, watching NASCAR and being a handy-man of all trades but his favorite thing of all was spending time with his wife and children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Mlynarczyk of Alva, Florida formally of Washingtonville, NY; daughters, Melissa and her husband Michael Jones of Fort Myers, FL and Nicole and her husband Matthew Dwornik of Fort Myers, FL.; brothers, Edward Mlynarczyk of Blooming Grove, NY, James Mlynarczyk and his wife Lorraine Swetz of Croton on Hudson, NY and Thomas Mlynarczyk and his wife Suzanne of Stockholm, NJ; Sister-in-law, Linda and John Castellano of Stony Point, NY and Sister-in-Law, Patricia Wolfe of Braintree, MA; Mother and Father-in-law, Frederick and Bernardine Mahler of Garnerville, NY as well as John’s nieces and nephews Rachel, Stephanie, Tara, Eric, Erin, Craig, Brian, Sara, Lisa, Danny, John and his grandnieces and nephew Mackenzie, Alexandra, Jackson, and Riley. Sadly John was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law Gerald Wolfe.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 5-8pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home in Washingtonville, NY.
Mass will be held Monday, July 11, 2016, 11:30am at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, NY.
Cremation was Private.
