Joseph M. Leddy of South Blooming Grove, NY entered into rest on June 18, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was 80. Joseph was born in NYC on June 13, 1932 to John and Anna (Magivney) Leddy. He was the husband of Dora V. Torres. Joseph was a loving husband, father and grandfather and brother. He was a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus Council 5890, an usher at St. Mary’s Church as well as a Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his loving Wife, Dora V. Leddy of So. Blooming Grove, NY; Sons, Joseph B. and his wife Kathy Leddy of McLean, VA and Michael J. and his wife Patricia Leddy of So. Blooming Grove, NY; Daughter, Lisa Davino of Cape Canaveral, FL; Brothers, Peter and wife Florence Leddy of Bronx, NY and John and Gladys Leddy of Maywood, NJ; Sister, Ann Bessinger of Forked River, NJ and 9 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by 3 brothers, Patrick, Charles and Terrance Leddy. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6-9pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, June 22, 10am at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow at 11am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
