Joe passed away July 8 ,2016 at Columbus LTACH in Newark N.J. after a long hard battle. He was 44 years old . Son of Gary Rubino Sr. and the late Amy (Rose) Rubino of Highland, N.Y.

He had worked for Ulster County Highway Dept. He loved football and fishing especially the Chicago Bears and fishing at Salmon River.

He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly (Cox) Rubino, Stepdaughter Shelby Buboltz. His Brothers Gary Rubino Jr. of Highland N.Y. And Thomas Casper of Highland, N.Y. His sister Tina Keener and husband Darren Of Highland N.Y. And Josette Tucker and husband David of Greensboro,N.C. His brother in law Wilson Lindemann of Northvale N.J.His sister in laws Denise Ferguson of New Windsor,

N.Y. , Debra Galt and Husband Richard of Wallkill,N.Y., Kristina Lonce and husband John of Maybrook N.Y. mother-in-law Linda Cox of New Windsor, N.Y. and father-in-law Douglas Cox of Newburgh, N.Y., Nieces and Nephews Megan Casper , Meadow Miller, Robert Miller, Faith Tucker , Heather Ferguson, Tyler Cox , Katrina LaCush, Gabby Fazio, Katie Galt and Luke Galt. Many Aunts , Uncles and Cousins. His pets Logan, Jethro, Rosie and Puss Puss

Predeceased by his brother Jimmy Rubino, father in law James P. Lucas and pets Hammer & Cherrio.

The Family would like to give a big “Thank you” to Dr. Feldman, Dr. Zakow and his PA's , Vassar brother's caseworker Paj, CTICU staff and CT Stepdown staff for all the devotion you shown to Joe during his battle. All of you touched our hearts and will always be our “ extended family”.

At this time Joe's wish was to be cremated and at a later date to have a “celebration of life” . Which is being granted.
