Kathleen Doris

Kathleen Doris of Norwalk, CT, entered into rest on March 21, 2012 at Elant at Fishkill, Fishkill, NY. She was 84. Kathleen was born in New York City, NY on October 30, 1927 to Patrick and Delia (Conway) O’Brien. She was the widow of James P. Doris. Kathleen was a Registered Nurse who took great pride in her vocation and was extremely dedicated to her patients. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Jerome’s Church in Norwalk, CT and a longtime resident of the Broad River Homes in Norwalk, CT. Kathleen was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. She is survived by her Son, James G. and his wife Sally Doris of Washingtonville, NY; Daughter, Maureen and her husband Vito Iossa of Bethel, CT; Daughter-in-law, Joanne Doris of Norwalk, CT; Grandchildren, Hannah and Becca Doris, Jameson and Ty Doris and Christopher and Matthew Iossa as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by her Son, Michael Doris; two Brothers, Rev. Michael O’Brien and Frank O’Brien and two Sisters, Fran Molinari and Sally O’Brien. Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 from 5-8pm at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford, CT 06905. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012, 9:30am at St. Jerome’s Church, Norwalk, CT. Burial will follow at 12pm in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
