

Kenneth J. Morrow of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest with his family by his side on August 21, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was 97 years old. Kenneth was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 1, 1916 to Curtis G. and Mary A. (McCauley) Morrow. Kenneth was a Sales Rep. with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He is survived by his loving children, Andrew C. and his wife Glenda Morrow of Newburgh, NY and Monica Morrow of Washingtonville, NY; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson of Newburgh, NY and Natalie and her husband Brian Ackerman of Red Hook, NY; great-grandchildren, Carter Thompson and Madison Ackerman; stepchildren, Catherine and her husband Frank Drewniak, Dorthea and her husband Robert Hallihan and Margaret and her husband Robert Loiselle all of Chicopee, MA; sister in law Anne Morrow. Kenneth was predeceased by his former wives, Veronica Sacias, Helen O’Neill and Estelle Roback also pre deceased by his brothers Joseph and John Morrow. Kenneth was WWII Marine Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 1948 of Washingtonville, NY, a parishioner and former usher of St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, Former President of Holy Name Society and former member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY 10992. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Rev. Jeffrey Maurer and Rev. John Vondras on Saturday, August 24, 10AM at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Washingtonville.
