Lawrence J. Vogel

Lawrence J. Vogel Washingtonville, NY, age 76 entered into rest August 30, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, NY. He was born in NY, New York on March 19, 1936 to James F. and Mamie Deitz Vogel. Lawrence was a retired Senior Head Custodian with the East Ramapo School. He volunteered with Christmas Wishes for Children and Meals on Wheels of Blooming Grove, NY. Lawrence also loved coaching Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football in Rockland County. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife Annette Vogel of Washingtonville, NY; sons Lawrence J. Jr. and his wife Renee Vogel of Suffern, NY and Michael W. and his wife Melissa Vogel of Garnerville, NY; daughter Cheryl and her husband Eric Mann of Washingtonville, NY; A brother Edgar and his wife Barbara Vogel of Pine Island, NY; A sister Viola Hasti of Alaska; sister in law Lauretta Vogel of Suffern, NY, grandchildren Wilfredo and Alyssa Santiago, Michael, Tori and Nicholas Vogel and a great granddaughter Elizabeth Cruz as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 4, 2012, from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home in Washingtonville, NY. A Service will be held at 8:30PM in the funeral home.
