Marie Castagna

Marie Castagna of Washingtonville, NY formerlly of Brooklyn, NY entered into rest on October 16, 2011 at Valley View Nursing Home in Goshen NY. She was 89. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 10, 1921 to Vincent and Mary (Ferrara) Crisalli. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. The family would like to thank Maries’ extended family, the nurses and staff of Grand Avenue Valley View N.H. She is survived by her daughter, Christine and her husband Patrick O’Neill of Campbell Hall, NY; grandchildren, Caitlin and Erinn as well as many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Christopher Castagna and 3 sisters, Rose, Ann & Frances. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 23 from 1-3pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 3pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. Cremation was private. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
