Born in Newburgh, NY on January 30th, 1990, he was a graduate of Washingtonville High School and SUNY New Paltz. He worked as a film and television editor for many years, mostly freelance. Within the last two years he became the Technical Manager at Anomaly Entertainment in New York City.
Matt was a very social person, and once he was your friend, he was your friend forever. He was very passionate about the environment and loved all outside activities, especially hiking.
He is survived by his fiancée Gillian Huff of New Windsor, NY, his parents Bonnie and David Brunner, and his brother Adam Brunner of Washingtonville, NY.
On Sunday, May 22nd, the family will be receiving visitors at 1 PM, followed by a service at 2 PM, at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville. Since seating is limited, livestreaming is strongly recommended. The link is: https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/9707153240
Loved ones attending in person will need to wear a mask covering both nose and mouth. Failure to do so will result in fewer people being allowed to attend in person.
From Monday, May 23rd to Thursday, May 26th, the family will be receiving visitors at their home from 2 PM to 4 PM, and they will be conducting shiva services, also at their home, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
