Clyne, Michael J. "Mickey", of South Blooming Grove, suddenly, at his home on Jan. 5th, 2013 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Patricia. Dear father of Eileen (Don), Thomas and Kevin (Debbie). Loving grandfather of Kathleen, Kristine and Michael Cupertino, Andrew and Julianna Clyne, Abigail, Thomas and Hannah Clyne, Uncle of Nora Schuffenhauer, Brother of the late Francis X. (Peggy) Clyne, Brother-in-law of Thomas (Joan) Meehan and the late Francis (Marie) Meehan. Mickey served in the US Navy on a PT boat in 1953. He married Patricia Meehan at St. Athanasius Church in the Bronx on Sept. 25, 1955. Mickey was a meat cutter for the A&P supermarket for 38 years, retiring to care for his loving wife Pat. Mickey was a daily communicant of St Mary's Church. His family will receive friends at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 42 Goshen Ave., Washingtonville on Wednesday Jan. 9th at 11am. Interment to follow at Mary's Cemetery.
