Nancy Frances Geraci

Nancy was born to Robert Hart Shell and Bonnie (Mathis) Shell on October 23, 1925 in Memphis, TN. She married the love of her life, Alfred A. Geraci on December 29, 1945. They were married for 66 years before his passing in February of 2012. She loved to play the piano, read, and also work on her crewel embroidery. She was a Senior Account Clerk in the Purchasing Department at Kingsboro Psychiatric Hospital on Clarkson Avenue in Brooklyn, NY from 1966 to 1988.

Nancy was the devoted wife to Alfred A. Geraci, the beloved mother of William Geraci who passed in infancy, Francine Geraci, Valerie Fais, and mother-in-law to Ken Fais, the cherished grandmother of Christopher Fais and Kimberley Fais, and the caring sister-in-law to Catherine Geraci. Nancy is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26 at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the chapel located at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village, NY 11379 with burial to follow also at St. John’s Cemetery.
