Ralph Joseph Bisquert

Ralph Joseph Bisquert, a resident of Washingtonville, NY, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on January 12, 2024. He was 79 years old. Ralph was born on May 29, 1944 in Astoria, NY to the late Rafael and Victoria (Reyes) Bisquert where he excelled in a variety of sports and followed his academic propensity for math and science. Ralph went on to attend Brooklyn Tech Highschool and City College. He started his engineering career at NY Telephone and then Con Edison where he continued a successful career as an estimator and GM for private contractors in the city. Ralph worked hard his whole life, commuting hours into all 5 boroughs of NYC and staying up late estimating job bids. However, no matter how hard he worked, he also loved to play, whether skiing in Vermont or tossing a football at the beach, he always wanted to be active. Summer fun at the Hamptons led him to meet his wife Valerie and they wed on November 7th, 1970 at St. Patrick's Cathedral. He spent the next 53 years by her side, adoring her every day. A devoted family man, Ralph never missed a school concert, sports game or birthday party. After retiring from construction, he continued to work as part of the Blooming Grove inspector’s office and volunteered with Neighbors for Neighbors. Ralph enjoyed life and most of all celebrating good times with people he loved.

He is survived by his loving wife Valerie, his daughter Nadine, and daughter Gina Posner and son-in-law Eric.

In honor of Ralph’s wishes there will be no visitation. An inurnment will be scheduled at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2 Fr. Tierney Circle Washingtonville, NY 10992.
