Raymond "Ray" J. Filippini

Raymond J. “Ray” Filippini of Salisbury Mills, NY entered into rest on November 22, 2011 at home with his family by his side. He was 71. Ray was born in New York, NY on May 9, 1940 to Joseph John and Anna (Donadoni) Filippini. He was the husband of Annette Risolio. He was a Computer Operator for Equitable Life, New York, NY. Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather who always put his family first. He was a hard worker and loved animals especially his cats. Ray’s family would like to thank his caretakers Terri, Micky, Esther, Gail, Sr. Ann and a special thank you to Theresa Ponessa, R.N. and the Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties for their deep compassion to Ray especially during his illness. He is survived by his loving wife Annette Filippini of Salisbury Mills, NY; Sons, Gregory and his wife Dina and Craig and his wife Brooke; grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Ava and Sofia. Ray was predeceased by his sisters, Anna and RoseMarie Filippini. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 2-4 &7-9pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 28, 2011, 10am at St. Mary’s Church, Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow at 11am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
