Robert E. Barratt

On Friday, February 13, 2026, Robert (Bob) Erik Barratt, loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away in Westchester, New York, at the age of seventy-four. Bob was born March 2, 1951 in Queens, New York to Erna Hall and Robert Barratt. He grew up in Bay Shore, New York and graduated from Bay Shore High School. After working for cablevision and as a radiology technician, he received his Associates Degree from Dowling College and became a Certified Public Accountant. Hardworking and dedicated to supporting his family, Bob worked as a CPA for his career. He lived in Bay Shore, Bohemia and Patchogue on Long Island and moved to Washingtonville, New York just prior to retiring. He enjoyed watching the Giants and loved reading both fiction and non-fiction in his retirement years.

Bob remains in the hearts of his daughter Christine (Chrissy) Barratt, son-in-law Nick Myers, grandchildren Lucy, Claire, Alex and Zach, brother Kenneth (Ken) and sister-in-law Nancy Barratt, nephews Colin and wife Leslie and James and wife Nicole Barratt, and former wives Caren and Rose Barratt. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Lynn and parents Erna and Bob Barratt.

A visitation will be held at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, located at 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY, 10992, on February 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Following the visitation, a committal service will take place at Washingtonville Cemetery, situated at 36.5 North St, Washingtonville, NY, 10992, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on the same day.
