Robert Biondo

Born May 2, 1947 to Alda Jankowski and Angelo Biondo (Stepfather Chester Jankowski) in Queens, N.Y. all deceased.

Bobby has sister Deanna Halpin and husband Sean Halpin deceased, Denise Tieger and husband Jeffrey Tieger and Suzanne Gastiaburo. Brothers John Biondo and wife Courtney Biondo and Tom Biondo and many Nieces and Nephews.

Bobby lived for many years at Elm House Residence in Rockland County N.Y. before getting Covid. They were his extended family and ended up in Northern Riverview Nursing Home, never to walk again.

The community residence took good care of Bobby, especially if he was ever sick.

They took him to baseball games, basketball games, bowling, Radio City Xmas show, shows at Elmsford, then dinners, lunches, breakfasts, picnics, dances and vacations to Villa Roma in Sullivan County. Bobby participated in Special Olympics in which he won a medal, played many sports.

Bobby was so lovable and a hugger. If he saw a familiar face, he would always run up to them smile and hug them. We will miss him and those hugs.

I want to thank John Saintville and his staff for taking care of him all those years at Elm. I want to thank Northern Riverview Nursing Home for caring for him the last 4/5 years, Especially friend Lori who was always there when I couldn’t be there to visit him.

Thank you to Erin for picking him up for home visits after my husband passed away and for taking me all those years to the nursing home every week. Thanks Tara and Nick for bringing him up for family holidays and his big 70th birthday party at Sean's & Jovan's.

We will miss you Bobby an all the love you gave us.

A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A prayer service will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A burial will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 at St Mary's Cemetery, 2 Fr Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, New York 10992.
