I remember the day Robert and his brothers were born. 3 little cherubs and the littlest was Robert. In the ensuing days, weeks and months the whirlwind of energy, joy and love in caring for 3 baby boys along with their "big" sister was fascinating, inspiring, and amazing. How does a parent keep it all straight? Color coded charts!! Robert was red! Red check marks on the daily list of feeding times, diaper changes, fevers, colds, smiles, first steps, first tooth. Baby bottles, binkys, thermometers, etc. all marked with red for Robert. So, as we say goodbye to Robert it seems fitting that this is the week of Red! Robert was red. And now and forever, red balloons, red hearts, red candy boxes and red Valentines, will always remind us of Robert with love.

I will never forget you Rob. You always treated me like family, and were such a amazing person. You always made everyone laugh even if everyone was in a bad mood, you would turn the whole room around and make it a happy environment. I will forever appreciate getting to know you, and everything you've done for me . You were really like my family. Any time i needed advice you were one of the first people i would go to and you would give me the best advice i could get. You introduced me to some great friends, in Jake and Angie, and you taught me a lot about life. I will truly never forget you. I miss you bud, i hope we meet again one day.

It was our first vacation together. We went to Orlando Florida. We stopped at every pizza place we came across to compare it to New York pizza. There was a pizza spot in Universal Studios that was called New York pizza and right outside there was a stoop. So we got some pizza and just sat on the stoop. It was perfect. The rides and activities didn’t matter because we literally just enjoyed each other. I never had to ask him if I looked beautiful because he would just tell. I know I left him and it wasn’t easy. I never stopped caring about him or worrying about him.

Sam was Rob and the boys’ soccer coach. Their is a pic on this post. My husband Sam always tells the story of his 4 favorite players; his own son and The Brand triplets. He loved coaching the boys and how they fought on the field. Just last week he was talking about them and laughing.
Rest In Peace Rob.
Your family is in our prayers.

Alison - I am so sorry to hear of Rob's passing. The boys were in the same boy scout den as my son when they were in Round Hill. I will always remember Rob as a laughing and smiling, happy little boy. May his memory be a blessing to you and your family.

Remembering those days at the condo in Weathervane with you and the rest of high school boys joking laughing and being great friends with Steve. Always a smile on your face, Rob. You were one of the good ones. You will be missed but never forgotten, Stuey. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends now and always.
