Ronald James Kingly

Ronald, also know as “Ron” and “Big Man”

was born on November 15th, 1956 in Mount Vernon, NY to the late Theresa and Charles Kingly. He grew up in the Bronx, NY, where he met his wife, Robin. They quickly fell in love when they met in 1975, sharing 50 beautiful years together.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Robin and their 4 children; Ronnie, Christopher & his wife Allyson, Lauren & her husband Isaiah, and Philip; and his grandchildren Christopher, Daniella, and Zaiden. Ron loved his family, and they love him very much. They will all miss him deeply.

Ron loved to spend time with his family, and they made many memories over the years. From relaxing with his wife in the living room watching their favorite shows, to family vacations with long car rides to amusement parks, or winning a stuffed animal on the claw machine for his kids. They shared many family dinners, birthday celebrations, & holidays; like Christmas when his children were young, and he would leave them notes from “Santa”. He shared a love for sports with his 3 sons, and a love for chocolate like his daughter. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, along with the Yankees and Rangers. He enjoyed watching the games, yelling at the TV with his sons, and collecting anything related to the Dallas Cowboys. Ron also enjoyed playing basketball with his friends in their younger days. Ron loved music and to listen to rock n roll. He was the “biggest” fan of Pink Floyd, his children grew up hearing the phrase, “how can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat!”. He loved to crack a joke and make people laugh. Ron also cared for animals and loved his dogs immensely, who were his best friends.

A visitation will be held at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, located at 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992, on September 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Funeral Service will take place at the same venue on September 26, 2025, at 12:00 pm.

Burial will follow the funeral service at St Mary's Cemetery, located at 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, NY.
