

It is with great sorrow that the Maguire Family announces the death of our beloved Sister, Aunt and great friend: Rosemary Ann Maguire. Rosemary passed from us on August 20th, 2022. She was 56 years old. She was the second child and first daughter of the Kenneth J. Maguire Sr. and Rose Ann Maguire (nee McKenna). Rosemary was born on February 17th, 1966 in the Bronx NY. She was predeceased by her loving parents Kenneth J. Maguire Sr. and Rose Ann Maguire She is survived by her brother Kenneth J. Maguire Jr. and his wife Sandra Maguire. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Jean Maguire Coakley and her husband Martin Gerad Coakley. Rosemary has five devoted nephews and nieces: Kenneth Maguire III, Timothy Maguire, Andrew Maguire, Bryanna Rose Coakley and Grace Daniel Coakley.
Rosemary was a devout Roman Catholic and she attended St. Mary's Church at Washingtonville. She graduated from Washingtonville High School in June of 1984. Rosemary also graduated with a secretarial and office management degree from the Berkeley College in White Plains NY in 1987. Rosemary additionally graduated with a Business Administration degree from Orange County Community College in 1990.
Rosemary loved her family, home and beloved cat 'Claire'. Rosemary's last job was with the 'Home Depot' in Fishkill NY before becoming ill. She was an avid defender of animal rights and compassionate for neglected cats and dogs. Rosemary also loved to shop, dine and travel- especially to the South and West.
Rosemary would always keep family close and have nice things to share and great stories to tell. Rosemary shared her childhood memories as well as her recipes as an accomplished self taught chef. As a family, we can hear her wisdom and wit; especially her stories about our Mom and Dad. Rosemary was a beautiful quiet soul who lived her life to the fullest with her faith in God, her love of family and children.
Rosemary enjoyed making people happy with her humor, generosity and kindness. Rest in peace and forever missed, forever in our hearts.
