Stanley was a proud graduate of Brooklyn College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, and he went on to receive his MBA from Pace University in New York City. After meeting the love of his life, Cindy Truitt, on a blind date, the two were married just ten months later during the “Summer of Love” in 1967—a partnership marked by devotion, laughter, and adventure.
He built a successful career as an accountant, spending 32 years with American Express in New York City before retiring. Never one to slow down, Stanley continued his work through a private practice until the age of 75.
Known for his fun-loving and gregarious spirit, Stanley was truly the life of the party and was loved by all who knew him. He was an incredible baker, an avid skier who especially enjoyed trips to Colorado with his nephews, and a man who found great joy in the outdoors. Stanley and Cindy shared a deep love of travel and treasured the many journeys they took together.
Above all, Stanley will be remembered as a good husband, a devoted father, a loving uncle, and a loyal friend to many. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
