Thadeus E. Dolson

Thadeus E. Dolson, age 92, of Washingtonville, New York passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Thadeus was born in Washingtonville, New York. He was #8 of 13 children born to John and Margaret Earls (Dolson). After serving in the United States Army. Thadeus worked at Round Hill School, were the children dedicated the week of his Retirement as Mr. D Week. He was an avid fisherman, loved to go deep sea fishing with his brothers, often chauffeured by niece Bernadette Dolson. Like many of his brothers, he was quite stubborn.

He is survived by daughters Donna Gardner and husband Kevin of Montgomery Village, Md, Tami Dolson of Salisbury Mills NY, and Patricia Mann of New Windsor NY. Grandchildren Nicole Dolson of Salisbury Mills, Michael Gardner and wife Maria of Maryland, Maya Gardner of Maryland, Michael Dolson of Louisiana, Kulit DavinaGracia and family of the Philippines. Great grandsons Anthony Gialella and Dominic Gialella. Brothers Reginald and wife Holly, Howard and wife Cynthia, numerous nieces and nephews, step daughter Regina Scott and family and step son Eugene Dieschel and family,

He was predeceased by his parents, wife Lucetta Boddy Dolson, sons Robert, Thadeus, Jr. and Anthony. Siblings Cornelia, Mary, John, Marjorie, William, Pauline, Clifford, Catherine, Duane and Elizabeth and wife Jane.

A visitation for Thadeus will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A burial will occur Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Washingtonville Cemetery, North St, Washingtonville, New York.
