Thomas J. Durney, 67, of Maybrook, New York, passed away on March 1, 2020. Thomas was born in the Bronx, New York on February 5, 1953 to Thomas and Mary Margaret (Murphy) Durney. Tom was pre deceased by his devoted wife Heather Jones Durney. Tom worked as a peace officer and toll collector for Triboro bridge and tunnel authority, New York City, New York. Tom was a member of the Maybrook VFW Post 2064 and was an avid baseball fan. His sister Margret Freda and her children Brian and Christopher Freda survive Tom. Sister in law Laura and Bruce Hermann and their children Christopher, David and Jason. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 4, 2020 4-7 pm at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY. A prayer service will be at 6:45 pm at the Funeral Home.
