Wilbur "Willie" L. Muir

Willie was born in Warwick, NY on August 30, 1941 to Louis and Miriam McKibben Muir. Willie was a warehouse Supervisor in the hardware industry. He was the loving husband of Judith A. Ferguson Muir. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother whose family was his life, Willie had a great sense of humor and a zest for life. A graduate of Washingtonville HS and a United States Air Force Veteran, he was also an avid stock car racer and a Mets fan that was also drafted by the Milwaukee Braves. Willie is survived by his wife Judith A. Muir of Newburgh, NY; children David A. Bender also of Newburgh, NY, Allan L. and his wife Rachel Kelsey- Muir of West Covina, CA, Donny M. and his wife Christine Bender of Schenectady, NY and Scott L. and his wife Kelly Muir of Watkins Glen, NY; brothers Richard L. and his wife Kathleen Muir of Campbell Hall, NY and Robert A. and former wife Jayne Muir of Walden, NY; grandchildren Devin, Taylor, Jacob, Alicia, Dana, Ashley, Danny, Nicholas and Jack, as well as many nieces and nephews. Willie was pre deceased by his son Brian. A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday June 8, 2012 from 5-7:30PM at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home 20 North St Washingtonville, NY 10992 (845) 496-9106. A Service will be held at 7:30PM in the Funeral Home following the visitation. Cremation will be private.
