

Friday, April 4, 2014. He was born in Waterville, Maine on November
14, 1940 a son of the late Charles Steeves SR. and Edwina (Gagnon) Steeves
Bolduc. Charles worked as a custodian for Goodwill of New England for
25 years until his retirement. He loved his family and kids and he
especially enjoyed family gatherings. They all knew he was
adventurous and would try anything at least once and was always the
one to provide night time excitement with a wonderful array of
fireworks as kids. Charles loved the thrill that could be had through
playing Bingo, slots and scratch tickets. He loved to listen to music
on his radio and to watch his favorite TV shows Bonanza and Gunsmoke.
He also loved his Red Sox as he was an avid Ted Williams fan. Charles
also like the outdoors and shared many memories with his family while
fishing or smelting. Charles will be remembered as a classy dresser
and all who knew him knew not to disturb his meticulously manicured
hair. He was also a very neat person who had a specific place for all
of his belongings. Charles is survived by his sons David Charles
Steeves of Clinton, Gary Lee Steeves and wife Sue Nickerson of
Fairfield, Ernest Clifford Steeves and wife Tammye R. Steeves of
Oakland; daughters Tammy Lynn Fortier and husband Tim Fortier of
Fairfield Center and Lisa Marie Fitzgerald and fiance Jon Fortier;
brothers Richard Steeves of Warren. John Gary Steeves and wife Karla Steeves
of Unity, and his sisters Linda G. Levesque and husband David
Levesque of Waterville and Crystal Ann Bolduc of Waterville. He is
also survived by a special longtime friend Jean Gauthier, ten
grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Charles was predeceased by
his beloved wife Lorette Mary Rodrigue Steeves, his mother Edwina
Mary Gagnon Steeves Bolduc, his father Charles Clifford Steeves SR.,
his step-father Aurelle(Ricky) Bolduc, his bothers Douglas Arthur
Steeves and Theodore William Bolduc, his special aunt Kay Gagnon as
well as his uncles Eddie Gagnon and Pummey Fotter.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Charles’ to EMHS
Foundation PO Box 931, Bangor, Maine 04404-0931. Visitation for
Charles will be held on Tuesday, April 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the
Veilleux Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated
on Wednesday April 16 at 11 Am at the Sacred Heart Church in
Waterville. Services are under the care and direction of the Veilleux
