

Waterville- Dominique “Dom” E. Bolduc, 92, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2013 at Lakewood Manor with his granddaughter Joan by his side. He was born in Waterville, Maine on July 20, 1920. A son of Philip and Florida (Roy) Bolduc.
Dom was educated in Waterville schools and went on to work for Scott Paper Co. for 41 years until his retirement. He also served 21 years with the Waterville Fire Department. He married Joan Thibodeau at Notre Dame Catholic Church in 1941.
He was an active communicant at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Waterville, and a lifetime member of the Waterville Elks Lodge. Dom greatly enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling and traveling to Hawaii.
Dom is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Joan Bolduc of Waterville, 3 children: Dana Bolduc and wife Monica of AZ, Judy Veilleux and husband Richard of Sidney, David Bolduc and wife Mary Jane of Waterville; 11 grandchildren: Joan Bolduc of Waterville, Jane Stevenson & husband Mark of Gilbert AZ, Jessica Marquis & husband Timothy of Orono, Jennifer Thomson & husband James of Ft. Rucker, AL, Matthew Bolduc & wife Sandra of Avondale, AZ, Bob Veilleux and wife Sue of Carmel, Billy Veilleux and wife Nikki of Waterville, Karl Roy and significant other Marilia Sardinha of Winslow, Karen Allen and husband Tom of Waterville, Christina Bolduc of Waterville and Kelli Fales and husband Cory of Winslow, 26 great grandchildren; Benjamin, Dana, Holly, Lacie, Kayla, Joshua, Gabrielle, Ryan, Andrew, Tyler, Connor,Jordan, Nathan, Matthew, Dominique, Emily, Jade, Travis, Ryan, Devyn, Brooke, Ava, Joslynn, Alexander, Emma and Kayla and 4 great- great grandchildren, a close friend Mr. Fisher, as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, a son Donald P. Bolduc, 5 siblings; Fr. Auguste Bolduc, Albert Bolduc, Evelyn Veilleux, Yvonne Giguere and Arlene Morin.
Dominique’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Henry Colt and staff at Maine Dartmouth for their excellent care over the years and also to Lakewood Continuing Care Center, especially Diane, Heather and Rick.
Visitation will be held at Veilleux Funeral Home on Sunday, February 3, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Silver St. on Monday, February 4 at 11 am, burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
