Elizabeth J. Withee

Waterville - Elizabeth Jane Withee, 76, of Winslow passed away at Mt. St. Joseph's Nursing Home on Sunday, February 22 with her loving husband Harold by her side. Elizabeth was born in Winslow, on February 21, 1939 a daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Turgeon) Huard. She was educated in local Winslow schools graduating from Winslow High in 1957.

Elizabeth worked at ALCO Packing as well as Hathaway Shirt as an inspector. She enjoyed going out to eat especially to her favorite place Pizza Hut where she would gather with her friends, shopping, dancing and she was a great solver of word search puzzles.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband Harold of 40 years, her sons Robert Lemieux and wife Lynda of Louisiana and Oklahoma, Steven Lemieux of Vassalborro, Kenneth Lemieux and wife Pamela Weiss of Gorham and her grandchildren Keryn and her husband Jason, Lyra, Alyssa, Joshua, Jessi, Ben, Elizabeth and Alex, and her great grandson Eliott. She is also survived by her brother Gerald Huard and wife Gladys of California, Joseph Huard of California, Lionel Huard and wife Angela of Winslow, and Louis Jr. and wife Linda of Gorham as well as a sister Germaine Mathieu of Waterville and also many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, her brothers John, Lucienne, Reginald, George, Fern, Leon, David, Wallace and sisters Anita and Antionette.

Visitation for Elizabeth will be held on Friday, February 27 from 5-8PM at Veilleux Fuenral Home, 8 Elm St. Waterville, ME. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 27 Monument St. Winslow on Saturday, February 28 at 11Am.
