As a hospice volunteer, Jim and I spent many hours together. We often enjoyed watching his favorite old westerns, Gun Smoke and Bonanza. Sometimes we sat at the kitchen table and admired the birds flying in and out of the feeder that he had made. In the warm weather, he loved to sit outside breathing in the fresh air and scent of the flowers Lucille lovingly cared for. Jim was a gentle man and a gentleman. It was an honor to have him as a client.
