Jerome Camille Godin

Winslow—Jerome C. Godin, 84, of Winslow, died March 24, 2011 at Maine General Medical Center Waterville. Jerome was born April 24, 1926 in Winslow the son of Stanley and Eva Louise (Houle) Godin. Educated in area schools. Jerome served in the US Navy during WWII, later he worked for Hollingsworth & Whitney Paper Co. and then Scott Paper Co. as a Lab Technician for 38 years retiring in 1984.

Jerome was predeceased by his Parents, wife Lois Juanita (Roy) Godin, 2 brothers Reginald Godin and Norbert Godin.

Surviving are a son Bruce R. Godin of Winslow, a daughter Sandra Joan (Godin) Zuck of Redondo Beach, CA, a sister Gloria (Godin) Bosse of Waterville, a grandson Jonathan E. Godin and his wife Katherine Scarlett (Stallsmith) Godin of East Orange, NJ, a great-grandson Jonathan “J.J.” E. Godin Jr. also of East Orange, NJ.

Visiting Hours will be held March 29, 2011 from 6-8PM at Veilleux Funeral Home 8 Elm Street Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday March 30, 2011 at St. Francis Catholic Church Elm Street Waterville. Burial will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
