Waterville – Leo J. Bolduc, 81, died peacefully at his residence on July 23, 2011. He was born in Waterville, on September 27, 1929 the son of Henry and Irma (Labbe) Bolduc. Educated in Waterville schools and graduated from Waterville high school. Leo served his country as a pilot in the US Air force. After the service he worked for the Wyandotte Mill and for a short time at LaVedieres warehouse.
Leo was a member of the Waterville Elks Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father and brothers, dancing and traveling. Most of all the many wonderful summers spent with family at the camps on North Pond.
Leo was predeceased by his parents, 5 brothers and a sister, Nelson, Wilfred, Lawrence, Louis, Emile, and Sadie, as well as a special friend Jackie Trahan.
Surviving are one sister Anita Bouchard of Waterville Many many nieces and nephews, and his closest nieces and nephew Caroline, Jeff and Jan. Leo’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Dianne Gigure for the help she gave Leo.
The family has requested no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am Saturday August 6, 2011 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Silver Street, Waterville. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville.
