

Lillian E. Duguay, 88, of Mt. Saint Joseph's passed away on Saturday October 2, 2010 at Mt. Saint Joseph's. She was born in Van Buren, Maine on June 30, 1922, a daughter of the late Erick and Flavie (Roy) Cyr. She attended local Van Buren Schools and moved to the Waterville Area in 1941 with her husband Donald.
Lillian worked for Hathaway as a stitcher for more than 40 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of St, John's Church and enjoyed traveling and was a wonderful cook. She will be missed by many.
Lillian is survived by siblings; Alfred and Gertrude Cyr of MA, Clifford and Georgette Cyr of N.H., Dorina Millette of AZ, Corinne Hardy of MA, and Lorraine and Sam Trodella of MA; Brothers-in Law Albert Duguay and wife Antoinette, John Duguay and wife Nancy, Joseph Duguay and wife Kathryn, Lawrence Duguay and wife Faylene and Omer Duguay; Sisters-in-law Jean Carey, Theresa Plante, Lorraine Reny and husband Donald and Cecile Gagnon. She also leaves special friends Leena Weeks, and Yanita Begin as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lillian's family would like to thank Mount St. Joseph and Thayer Hospital for her care while she was with them.
A Mass of Christan Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM on Saturday October 9th at ST, John's Catholic Church with committal to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville.
