

Winslow – Margaret “Peggy” Marcoux , 67 died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, Jan. 9, 2013.She was born in Bath on April 10, 1945, the daughter of Robert A. and Frances R. (Lowery) Besaw.
She was a graduate of Morse High School in Bath. She was employed at Winslow Public Library for over 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters Debra (Marcoux) Davis and her husband Anthony of China, Sherry Marcoux and her daughter Emilia of Yarmouth, a son Larry Marcoux of Winslow, mother Frances Besaw of Waterville, brother Robert Besaw Jr. and wife Anne of Owls Head, sister Lori London and husband Kent of Vassalboro. Special nieces and nephew: Katrina (Besaw) Newton and husband Rusty of Portland, Lindsey (Besaw) Bissell and husband Mike of Scarborough and Ross London of Vassalboro.
She was predeceased by her father Robert A. Besaw, Sr.
Peggy enjoyed spending time with her long-time Beta Sigma Phi sorority sisters and looked forward to her yearly retreat with them in Wells Beach. She also had many special friends and enjoyed seeing all of the patrons at the Library. Her greatest passion was escaping into a new chapter of her next favorite novel. She was special to many and will be greatly missed for her amazing personality that could bring light and shine on any person’s day.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed immediately by the Funeral Services, Sunday, Jan. 13 at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville.
