Sadie Neseralla

Sadie Neseralla, 87, of Winslow, passed quietly into the arms of her family and Savior in Heaven on February 22, 2011. Sadie, born December 14, 1923 in Waterville, was the fourth child of Massud and Terese (Abdu) Neseralla.

Sadie grew up in Head Of Falls among family and friends and her heart remained full of wonderful memories. She graduated from the Maine School of Practical Nursing and dedicated her life to caring for her patients in Sister’s Hospital and Seton Hospital.

Sadie, a deeply pious woman, was a lifelong parishioner of, and volunteer at St. Joseph Maronite Church. She was devoted to the Sisters of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, whom she considered a second family.

Sadie is predeceased by her sisters Mary and Annie, and brothers Elias and Joseph. A loving aunt, she will be missed by her nephews Thomas Neseralla, of Avon, CT; Brian Neseralla, of Enfield, CT; and David Neseralla, of Novato, CA; and grand-nephews Nicholas; Adam; Jameson; Brennan; Bryce; and Tyler; and grand-niece Sydney. Sadie leaves behind her dear friends Janet George, Marie Deeb and Linda Rokas.

Friends are invited to call at Redington Funeral Home, 5 Park St., Waterville from 4 - 7 PM Friday, February 25. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Maronite Church , 3 Appleton St., Waterville Saturday at 11:00AM.
